I own a 2018 Classic 500. My bike has by now over 18000 km on the odo and it just runs and runs. Never had any problems with this great bike.

I took a test ride on a Classic 500 that was at Baxter Cycle. I was instantly hooked. I have a Bullet 500 Trials now ,and I absolutely love it. It’s the perfect back roads Tennessee bike

I still have a 2001 pre-unit bullet that I don’t know what to do with. I never thought mine was that viby , but it was problematic in many ways. Go through it and make everything good? Sell it? Decisions. Decisions.

They are a wonderful motorcycle, for sure. Some seem to have more vibe than others. Wahoo!

That's the headlight switch below the kill switch.
@forgottenmotorcycles Жыл бұрын
ah, now I understand. On US bikes headlight is always on making this switch superfluous. Thanks!
@johnlacaze4811 Жыл бұрын
@@forgottenmotorcycles there's actually a short wire bundle with plugs at both ends that you can remove behind the headlight that will allow the switch to function.

so what is your opinion as a rider between this and the 350 as for power...dont give me numbers just your thoughts. :)
@forgottenmotorcycles Жыл бұрын
The 500 feels like it has more power and more torque and probably goes faster but at a cost. Its older engine vibrates considerable amount more and has a much higher center of gravity when compared to the 350. I like the 500 a lot, I love my 350. I would try to get to a dealer and ride both bikes at least a dozen miles or more and see what you think. I've got a friend that's got the 500 and wouldn't give it up for the world. On the other hand, I just love riding my 350. Just got off of it a second ago as a matter of fact.

@@forgottenmotorcycles thanks for the reply....i hesitated 2 years ago buying the 500...now the current option is the 350...some say that there isnt much difference...the thing is that maybe the sell a 500 in a year or 2...a ride review with the 2 of them would be in use...

I have a 500 tribute...I love it and will probably keep it until I croak. Both are slow bikes but the 500 has double the torque of the 350 and torque floats my boat. The 350 classic reborn is silky smooth compared to the 500 but understand that anyone on a new vespa is going to kick your butt. Both are headturners and I get heaps of old blokes coming up to me with stories about the 500s they had when they were young.
