This book was unusual in that I liked the first half and then when they actually went back in time, I thought it kinda sucked.

I think he just wanted to show off his 15th (or whatever) century knowledge but forgot people were going to spend money to read it.

I had a hard time hearing you in this video. Not sure if it's on my end. I had to put in my earbuds and crank up the volume. Hope you're doing well. How many more Crichton books do you have and how long do you think this reading project will be? How's school?

Yeah I don't know what happened to the audio, it is low on this one. Sounded good when I uploaded, think YT may have done something funky during the processing maybe. I think there are 6 more Crichtons. For a dead guy, he sure is cranking out the books still 😂. I hope to be finished by the end of the year. I've read Prey already and half way done with State of Fear which I think is his chunkiest book. School is going pretty well again. The first two terms this year were really rough. I had one professor I couldn't get along with and it really burned me out for a while. For some reason the criticism was personal and not based on the work. I had to get my advisor involved and got a couple grades changed. I stayed respectful and took the high road so I was proud of myself for that. By week 6 of the class, there was no way to keep my 4.0 so I coasted and recharged my batteries. I was already graduating Summa Cum Laude and that's all I really cared about. My gf decided to start going to school as well. Right now she's going for a liberal arts associate with the plan of getting a B.A. in Psychology. Don't tell her but I'm kinda jelly because I think that would be a lot more fun to pursue. If I have to run one more mock project I'm going to slam my head through a wall...

@@booknikYT LOL Your comment on Crichton pumping out the books for a dead guy made me laugh. I think the same can be said for V.C. Andrews. I read her in middle school, but I've heard more books have been written. What a bummer about the stupid professor, but congratulations on your Summa Cum Laude! Well done. Congrats to your gf for going back to school too. I'd say, be jealous of her classes, but wait until she has to deal with the crazy people. The world has changed, the crazier have gotten crazier.
