Sphere was my first ever Crichton and probably my first techno thriller ever. I LOVE this book. Oddly enough I've read it after watching the movie and was baffled of how deep , engaging and even spectacular the book is. Great review!

Sphere is not only one of the best Crichton books, it's just one of the most thrilling pop-fiction novels I've ever read. It constantly changes, stakes getting higher, with a mystery the keeps unfolding to reveal even more mysteries. So good.

Saw the movie adaptation ages ago and had no idea it was based on a book, just something I stumbled upon on HBO. I vaguely remember the plot but recall really enjoying it, was shocked to learn the reviews of the movie weren't nearly as favorable as I expected!
