Note: The object visible on the images from 2:47 to 3:29 is the comet 103P/Hartley. It is also a contact binary, so I figured that Arrokoth might look similiar to it when the Sun will be a Red Giant. Also 2:48: Not melt in the strict sense of becoming liquid, but rather sublimate

What it is: Arrokoth?

Arrokoth is a minor planet from the Kuiper belt. It's best known for the fact that it was visited by the New Horizons space probe in 2019, the same probe that visited Pluto in 2015 :) It is also the farthest object in the Solar System to be ever visited
