Just imagine if KD didn't get injured in 2019 and still sign with the Nets and play during the 2019-20 season? Imagine how good the Nets would have been in 2020 and I just realized although we didn't get Lakers vs Nets in 2021, just imagine it unexpectedly happen in 2020 in the bubble when everyone is healthy? That would a crazy storyline.

I'm actually kind of glad KD was injured. Reason why is because while KD was out, Caris Levert got most of his minutes. While Caris was playing, his trade value went up, enough to where he could be apart of a package which got the Nets James Harden. Caris getting traded also meant that he was able to get that physical which revealed the Cancer on his Kidney. JxmmyHighroller made a video on it actually, I recommend checking it out.

there was always something in his way 2010: led the league in scoring but his team was an 8th seed 2011: led the league in scoring but DRose exploded and led his team to the best seed 2012: led the league and scoring but they gave it to Bron maybe because Wade only played 49 games and Russ averaged 24 alongside KD for the season (this was the year i think KD could have won, it was a toss up between him and Bron) 2013: 2nd best record in the league, 2nd highest ppg in the league behind Melo, but Heat went 66-16, could have won it but again only thing i can think of was Wade's numbers went down to 21ppg from his 25ppg in 2011, pretty much a toss up between him and Bron again 2015: injured 2016: Curry simply went ballistic 2017-2019: many would argue he deserved it here but i think its obvious the reason he didnt get it was because Steph was averaging 25ppg alongside him
