What’s more frustrating is the ones they hit on (Zack Lavine, Kevin Love, Andrew Wiggins, Ricky Rubio, Brandon Roy, Mario Chalmers, and most likely Jared Culver and Lauri Markkanen) have or will find more success elsewhere. The other problem, they’ve drafted great talent but very mentally soft players who lack that killer instinct you need to make runs: Kevin Love, Andrew Wiggins, and KAT are all guys who are number 1 talents but lack the alpha gene.
