Thanks for sharing the sunrise. It is magnificent. It must be very rewarding to see the landscape greening up and flourishing downstream of your pond. All of the biodiversity created next to your desert greening project will be so valuable over time. It will expand upstream as your water storage expands. SO exciting.😊

It is very rewarding to see the changes. I just wish I had more time at the ranch to make the magic happen. Thanks for watching as always.

Beautiful sunrise! 🏜 It looks like you've added more solar panels lately. I must have missed that episode...🤪
@TimelineRanch2 ай бұрын
It is probably just a different view of them. I still have 18-100w panels, with no changes recently. Thanks for watching as always.

Yeah I that sunrise looks like a painting in some art gallery in Marfa or Alpine, but in real life. The clouds glowing are magnificent.

0:59 are the trees noticeably greener downstream of your pond already?
@TimelineRanch2 ай бұрын
Yes, everything downstream of the pond is looking much better now with a permanent water source. Thanks for following along with the project.

Whatever happened to that experiment you dug a while back?

Thanks for following along with the project. I believe you are talking about the 30/40 model. I have an update coming in the not too distant future. There is some growth scene the last video, but it is not as much as I had hoped. It seems to me this is a slow method but effective in the long term.

How many solar panels have you installed? And what is their power?
@TimelineRanch2 ай бұрын
Thanks for following along as always. As far as solar panels, I have 18-100w or 1,800 watts of potential energy. I'm planning on building a 6 kW system and expanding it from there as needed. It serves my needs for now.

I saw your post yesterday on the electrical installation. I'm not up to spec on the newest wireless tech, but would it be prudent to install cameras on the exterior and wire them up before you finish the interior?
@TimelineRanch2 ай бұрын
Thanks for following along with the project as always. I will have some light poles around the property and plan on putting cameras there.

What about stereo wiring, they make some nice ceiling and wall mount speakers. If your running 12v then you could probably find a high end stereo from a junkyard for reasonable price. On thing I noticed sailing on a quiet lake is that guests that weren't used to the quit would feel a little uneasy about the quiet. Turning on the radio even very low would make them feel better. I would want to have a good rocking stereo with nobody to complain about it.
