Just started filming night life last week, completely different from anything I've ever filmed. Tonight will be my third shoot and I will 100% be using a lot of the techniques discussed in this video. Thank you for this, you might not understand how helpful this video is. I feel lost sitting in front of my computer editing all of the footage from the night but I think this time around I'll feel much more confident. Thank you!

Hahaha it really is completely different, I was talking with a buddy who got a camera and started nightlife at the same time which is exactly what I did 4 years ago. I think it's so tough to pick it up at the start cause' you've got to know your exposure triangle right away, push your camera to it's limits, know it like the back of your hand... in the dark... and you gotta be able to do that ALL super fast and not miss the shot, like at a festival for example. Thank you for such an in-depth editing video. I'm always searching for these and rarely find them. I shoot more documentary "Slower Pace" videos but I'm trying to incorporate some new "Hyped Edits" into my style as well. I just purchased the a7siii recently as well and was just curious what PP you used for this edit or did you not use one? I'm learning more about Hlog3 but have yet to try it in a darker environment. everything 60fps! If there is hardly any light to use then I'll dial it down to 24 in certain areas of the club... but I try to keep everything 60.
