This is insane work man. Do you shoot at 60 fps every time? Also, to get the low shutter motion blur clips do you record with a 1/10 shutter for example on prupose or do you record 1/125 (if recording on 60 fps) and then add some effects on post to try to recreate the low shutter effect. More than welcome my guy! What are some things you think I missed within this video that I could touch on future videos? This summer I learned an immense about content creation and where it is heading and how we are able to capitalize off of it in our industry. Definitely going to want to make a video on this soon as I feel "video recaps" like the one I explained in this video while they are cool... they are not the most beneficial for certain situations. They are not the end all, be all type of content I once thought they were at the time of making this video.

Also, when you’re choosing your frame rate do you ever shoot in 24fps if you know it’s all going into a recap video? (This is excluding raw clips because those are definitely gonna be shot at 24fp)

Especially in nightclubs, Sometimes well lit, Bright or not, Have you had problems in post production concerning the Color grading for shooting on SLOG3 ? More than welcome Poncho! Getting exposure at +2.0 is pretty rare… I’m also able to take advantage of the 12,800 iso w/ no grain using the Sony A7s III. That helps immensely… I never go below of above that really. I did notice though, having a 1.8 makes a BIG difference in some instances!

hey, at 1:23:51 You can see black stripes/lines/bands that look like Flickering, but this is from light directly into the camera. Can these lights also damage the sensor? I use R6mk2 and sometimes I also have such stripes. I don't know how to avoid them and whether they are dangerous. I know that lasers damage the sensor, but what about the light beam?

I haven't had any damage from light beams, but lasers of course yes... avoid those at all costs.

mhmmm, good question! How invested are you into nightlife etc... because if you do other work as well then a wide angle isn't your best option... lol. I've been there before! I would suggest the 24-70 if you also do commercial work!

most work in 60fps for nightclubs, however... if you need the little extra stops of light then 24 fps as you can put your shutter speed lower thus creating more light!
