I'm American and have always enjoyed Sarah, Dutchess of York because she comes across as relateable to normal human frailities, as opposed to coming across as "us" versus "them." This upload is beautiful because 'we the people,' get to see a real human being carrying out humanitarian endeavors. This is a blessing! The British media is horrific because the great people of Britain have not put their foot down to rise up against the tabloid establishment. The media is also vulnerable, they are not as strong as you might think. Their very lives depend on human consumption; therefore, if the public decides that they are fed up with the way human beings are covered, they can put a stop to it.....especially put a stop to the Queen Mother; Piers Morgan's hyperbolic nonsense!

When people discuss Diana's "faults," they forget how young she was. She was NINETEEN when she married! Her height, hairstyle and clothes made her look more mature, but she was still so young. How many 19-year-old brides out there does anyone know who could perfect the social graces? Most of the ones I've known were still drinking beer and smoking pot w/their friends every weekend. But young Diana was thrust in a MUCH older, more mature social circle and expected to have the maturity of a 40-year-old.

I think Fergie is very pretty. I've said that elsewhere, but it's a different beauty to Diana's and this is ok. I personally don't think it was good or fair to compare them. But the press was merciless and this commentator is a bit harsh sometimes. For instance, comments on her dress sense - Well for goodness sake, the 80s and 90s style wasn't always flattering to people's shapes. She s a bit more 'real' and down to earth and I prefer people like that.

I think there are fixed ideas as to what constitutes elegance, though and if I'm honest, there are some who might be considered less so than Fergie. If she walks in z slightly 'off beat' way, it might be due to her athleticism. And for me, that's cool. I like people who are different. She s not perfect, and even if she is a royal, she's still human and subject to foibles, which she didn't hide. Fair play to her, I think.

I loved Sarah when I was growing up; she was a refreshing and alternative example to the simpering character expected of women, she struck an appropriate balance of femininity and independent strength, Today, of course we can be both! I never knew a lot about her, as highlighted in this film... I now admire her more. She certainly does have a kind heart and I hope that she has survived the awful experiences of the press and is living well.

What an amazing person Duchess Sarah is! There's no one else like her! Truly unique! Excellent Documentary! Absolutely fascinating with awesome footage! This Documentary was really enjoyable & very informative. Duchess Sarah is lovely & such a joyful, exuberant person. Sarah is & always has been truly delightful! She is very loveable & so down to earth. How the "Press' or anyone else could make fun of Sarah or deride her in any way is totally incomprehensible to me! To do that shows such pettiness & nastiness. It is mind boggling to think that some would sink that low & be literally "scraping the bottom of the barrel' by choosing to pick on & bully such a wonderful person as Sarah. Unreal! Also, the fact is, that Duchess Sarah & Prince Andrew made such a wonderful couple too! Furthermore, while the UK royal family is constantly getting divorces, most of the European royal families are STILL married! It says a lot about how God awful the spouses in the Windsor family are treated! For the record, Mette-Merit was a party girl! Letizia was a reporter who like Meghan was divorced. Crown Princess Victoria married her fitness instructor. Prince Albert of Monaco married a swimmer! In the last 30 years, no royal prince or princess has really married a person on "his or her level"! Let's face it: marrying your cousin is a tabu! The reason everyone is marrying outside their "social spheres" is because the UK and Spain thought it a good idea to be related to all the royal families in Europe! It'll take another three generations and marrying outside one's rank before the royal families can again marry from the same social cast! Let's call this for what it is: the Windsors and the press are nasty lot of people who didn't support the spouses who came into the family! Only Edward's Sophie has been able to get on with little issues! That's because the press were to busy dogging family members to actually care about what Edward did!

fredrika27.......Quite obvious, to me at least, is that the Windsors are in constant self-promotion mode, and by putting themselves out there, they've unwittingly invited criticism, ridicule and scrutiny. Other European royal houses just go about their daily business with little or no fanfare. So much so that I am unable to name any of them. I couldn't visually recognize even one if my life depended on it. On a side note: Prince Harry had his choice from among thousands of young, fertile women from the UK and 53 other commonwealth nations. Why he did not marry one of them is a monumental head-shaker.

If they didn't, they'd lose even more of their lands and titles! They appear in Hello and Gala magazines just as often as the UK royal family!
