The two wires on the left are either connected or disconnected by this switch. So, if you removed both wires from the device and then connected them to each other with a wire-nut connector then your load should run (like the led light strip in this demo). Typically, this relay switch is “inserted” along the positive wire by cutting the red wire between your battery and the “load” and then stripping that cut wire and attaching both sides to the relay terminals.

So basically when the timer is powered up, the T1 timer starts it’s countdown. When the T1 time has reached 0, the relay closes the circuit, turning on the light, and the T2 timer begins. When T2 reaches 0, the relay opens, turning off the light, and the timer cycles back to T1 and begins the countdown again. Is that correct?

Hi I am trying to have the timer triggered for a given period when it stops open the rely for a given time and then turn off. I have been using function 13 as I would like it to count down at the normal rate but to enter the time in 0.1seconds i.e. up to 999.9 seconds. I can't seem to get the settings right for this? Cheers

Long press [NUM+] button. The display will blink 3x to confirm that the power save is turned OFF. And, BTW, power save reduces the current by only about 5 mA.

Amine Bel The wires on the right come from a 12v DC battery to simply power the card itself. The wires on the left are the positive line to the light from the battery (bottom one goes to the positive battery terminal and the other to the positive light wire). There is a neg wire (not pictured) that goes from neg battery terminal to neg light wire directly. All this device does is touch those two left wires together for you to a set time pattern.

hi! can i program it like time off for for hours and then after that time on for 5 seconds and then time off again for 4 hours and so on for 24 hours? thanks for reply.

Chris Manalus Yes you could do that by setting the T1 "multiple" to a high number (say 60) and leave T2 multiple at 1 - then a wait number of 1440 times 60 will equal 24hrs. Your T2 time could still be just 5 secs.

Chris Manalus Yes - just use the multiplier for the wait time (60) along with 1440 and it will wait 24 hrs. The run time multiplier can remain at 1...
