It could have been so much better if you let people know the reason Jimmy was upset was because the referee choose what Colour ball Jimmy was going for, before Jimmy NOMINATED the Colour ball he was going for which is standard practice.! Also the frame where Ronnie didn't want to pot the Black to get a 147 was because it was only worth 5000 English pounds....!! But what you didn't show and what is most impressive is...??? Ronnie asked the referee how much the prize money was for a 147 after taking just one shot....!! But you never showed that...!! Ronnie predicted he was going to get a 147 after one shot..! But he was also right, 5 grand for a 147 is an insult to snooker!!

I thing the worst referee decision was in the Alex Higgins - Cliff Thorburn match (1984 UK Championship). Where he didn't listen to Cliff calling the Green ball and causing chaos (and ultimately turning the table in favor of Alex). My favorite part though in the video was Jimmy hugging the ref. Jimmy is amazing !

Then Alex saying he hadn't heard Thorburn nominate 'green' either. We'll never know whether the Hurricane really did or didn't hear the nomination, but the least he could have done would have been to say that he did. No guy ever played the game straighter-up than Cliff. No wonder he was fuming and wouldn't allow Alex to borrow his cue extension thereafter. That incident left a bitter taste for me.

In almost all these, they were harmless mistakes that rarely happen or even just a bit of fun (like the one with Robertson and the ref forgetting the black). Refs are human, and snooker has some of the best in all of cue sports. You guys don't know how good you have it (coming from American pool).

Even without hearing Ronnies comment It is obvious that Ben Williams had ridiculed/laughed at a mistake/miscue made by a player was bad enough for receiving caution or disciplinary action by the governing body. Without realizing this unprofessional conduct, he further abused to exercise the authority granted to the referee to caution Jimmy who was fighting so hard to get back into the game. This person in charge of the game should really be disqualified from his official duty. I really feel sorry for Jimmy who has been the model and hero for many younger players and has contributed tremendously to this game to bear this absurd humiliation.

Jimmy declared (verbally nominated) his colour. The ref didn't hear him properly. Players often mumble when declaring colours so this happens occasionally. His response was to deliberately repeat the wrong colour. Referees are encouraged to do this because suggesting a colour could be considered to be helping the player make a decision. Jimmy then re-declared the wrong colour & followed it with a sarcastic remark. It was this remark that incited the laugh. Jimmy was warned for his response to the laugh.

The Jimmy / laughing ref incident didn’t happen the way it’s portrayed here, because the beginning is missing.. The ref nominated the wrong colour and Jimmy had to correct him, so he was laughing mainly at himself. He wasn’t laughing at jimmy’s shot at all.

Personally the cleaning and moving of balls shouldn't hapoen, it should be classed as wear and tear and not be interfered with. And clean the after each frame.
