Just when I thought the $2.75 videos are done and voilà! 😃 You're so thoughtful of viewers who either reside in NY or are potentially traveling to NY by creating these informative videos when you already had plans to move. I can't say enough how I appreciate for all that you do, AK. It's always a treat to see subway and bus rides and the city views. 🚆🚌Thank you for sharing this long but economic transportation method and route, AK! 🤗

@@ActionKid AK how do you travel from LaGuardia plaza hotel to Times Square / Empire State Building and back can you share that info? Subways near that hotel? Also Citi field to Times Square etc pleaseeeee
@wmdouglas32 жыл бұрын
If you’re near Grand Central Terminal, take the Queens-bound 7 Train to 61st Woodside (not to Jackson Hts/Roosevelt Ave) and then catch the Q70 LaGuardia Link bus. When the bus gets to Jackson Hts, just remain seated and don’t get off. Doing it that way gives you a much better chance to get a seat on the bus. Just allow yourself a little more time using this method.
@farrockqns25772 жыл бұрын
That definitely would of cut his time by 30 mins at least since he wa smear the 7 already
@ActionKid2 жыл бұрын
That works too! I wouldn't recommend the M60 if carrying luggage, since the bus can get quite full. The Q70 is a much better option since it's a dedicated bus which practically guarantees space for passengers with luggage.

Awesome 👍🏼 Times Square 🏙️ to LaGuardia Airport 🛫 tutorial walkthrough! I love your tutorials, that you show the whole thing in real time. I love how you show the most convenient way to get from Times Square to the Airport for commuters and more using Transit for under $3!

Thank you A K for this informational and detailed ride !! Helpful for anyone who wants a cheap transportation to the LaGuardia airport , $2,75 is defintely that , but when considering the time that it takes and quite confusing way to travel , anyone can make their own decisions and this is one of the option !! Still enjoyful ride and great way to save money , of course the timetable of the flights have to keep in mind but still thank you for sharing 👍!!!

Thanks for the video and some information. 👏 I came across it while trying to find out how to get to LaGuardia airport. Not effective enough for me though since it takes about an hour to get to the airport by making stops along the way. Definitely no room for any luggage’s depending on when you’re traveling. 🤔I think the Q70 might be the better option for bus service since it is direct service to the terminals.

Nice and informative. I might also suggest the "E" train at 53rd St. & 7th Ave to the Q70 bus. Is that correct, as well?
@ActionKid2 жыл бұрын
Yes, I would almost recommend the Q70 LaGuardia link bus all the time, since it's a dedicated bus which serves the subway/LIRR/LGA exclusively, and more likely to have space for people to sit and hold luggage.

The 7 train to 61st woodside then Q70 that woulda been the fastest from The exact spot he was at and if it’s the evening rush hour the 7 is express to queens but local or express the 7 is the quickest way but my guess is he’s showing different ways in case the E and 7 are delayed or not running for some reason which does happen a lot here in. For the ppl that use omny, how do you show proof that you paid if you don't use your metro card at the sbs ticket machines for a receipt when you tap on the bus?
@farrockqns25772 жыл бұрын
Ima try to explain it as best I can cause I’m horrible with this type of stuff lol..but if you have Apple Pay and you go to the wallet app and click the card you tapped I believe theirs an i Icon u hit and it shows where and what you tapped your card for i.e if you use it at McDonald’s it’ll say the McDonald’s and the amount you paid there same with the SBS bus it’ll say $2.75 and it’ll say mta sbs
@ActionKid2 жыл бұрын
That's a great question. I'm not sure how a fare inspector would be able to check if you tapped a card at the reader since you may not be issued a receipt right away.

Is it better for me to get a metro card or use Google/Apple pay or contactless to use the NY metro? I'm from UK and I now use my contactless on the London underground (metro), but since i've never been to NY, idk if the metro card is a better option. Don't move. You love New York. New York loves you. You have a great future in New York as you become more and more influential doing what you're doing for Your City. NY is going through a rough patch. The city's quality of life has always been cyclical. I don't know anyone your age who knows the current city as well as its past as you do. You ARE New York. It is in your bones. Anywhere else you will be a stranger in a strange land. Florida is where people go to die. You're making a big mistake. Fortunately, it's reversible.
