- Elena was right, it really was Stefan's love for Damon that pulled him from the edge. - I hated how everyone blamed Tyler for the sire bond, he can't control it. - No matter how bad Klaus is, those sad little eyes just make me feel for him.. I love the Stefan and Klaus duo .. But Klaus and Elijah are the best team up - Omg I can't wait for 3x10!

Elena did exactly what she had to do. I'm still sad for Rebekah, but I understand why it was needed, she is an incognita. They trusted Elijah before in the same situation, and he did change his mind at the end and screwed them all. Of course they couldn't blame him exactly, but if even the most honorable of the Originals could get back on their words, then Elena and the Mystic Gang couldn't risk it.

I love the way Katherine get's up, smile's and says "Ka-boom" one of my favourite moment's of her. It was a brilliant idea bringing her in so Elena would be safe, I love how she appealed to Stefan's humanity too. I believe her when she says "I loved Damon too" because she could've let him die so many times, but didn't. They have this hatred of course, but I think a part of her will always care for him.

It was a good plan. Still mad Rebekah got stabbed before she could go to the dance. Joseph Morgan is consistently brilliant as Klaus, he shifts between emotions beautifully. His scenes with Mikael are brilliant. Katherine being able to get through to Stefan's humanity is such an intresting moment. Taking the coffins is such a smart move. Great episode.

Just to clarify for yall, supernatural creatures can use the white oak stake on originals with no consequences. What they can't use is the dagger dipped in white oak ash. That will destroy any "demon" who uses it (aka vampires, werewolves, etc). A white oak stake is literally a wood stake from the White Oak Tree. A dagger is a metal dagger that is DIPPED in white oak ash (ash from the oak tree). The dagger can't kill an original, it just temporarily "kills" them until it is removed from their body. Like how Elena daggered Rebecca. (Although it doesn't work on Klaus period because he isn't pure vampire, he's part werewolf too so he's immune). The white oak stake, when penetrated into the heart (catches fire), WILL permanently kill an original and that can be wielded by anyone. In summary, you're confusing a dagger dipped in white oak ash with a stake from the white oak tree. 2 completely different weapons.

Personally I get what Kyle was saying at the end about the sire bond. Tyler doesn't need to be told to defend Klaus or to update him on everything that happening but he does anyway because he is sired. Stefan would have to be asked by Klaus what is happening and even then he could lie( remember when he lied about Elena) unless Klaus doubts him and asks him to tell the truth. He also plots behind Klaus which Tyler doesn’t because he is sired, he literally doesn’t want to, he is “grateful” to Klaus, that’s what a sire bond does to someone. You don’t WANT to go against them.

Months later, but when did Stefan lie about Elena after he was compelled? Klaus (remarkably) didn’t seem to compel him the whole time they were together until he found out the truth about Elena (apart from “uncompelling” him re his memories). But I’ve forgotten a lot of this show so maybe I’m missing something.

Katherine is just an incredible, a hero in this series (although she is a biiiitch). She saved Damon, when she could have ended her 500-year escape from Klaus! Glad Damon didn't kill Klaus because I was rooting for him. Klaus, deep down is just an abused kid whose parents turned their backs on, he's desperate for unconditional love and family. Did not appreciate what Elena did to Rebekah, now she made an unnecessary enemy. A sire bond is supposed to be stronger than a compulsion but apparently not with Mikael's compulsion.

Absolutely. Ticks me off. Dont get me wrong love rebecca however she hasn't been a good person at this point yet. She turned on nik for herself not to help elena. Elena gets hate alot and sometimes i feel like people just hate on her for the dumbest reasons. I know we all have her opinion but caroline does anything its ok but not elena. I think she should have daggered her. Or at least get why she did it and the girl is not dead!!!!!!

YES ToT I can't say this loud enough cause as much as I love the first 5 seasons of TVD, the originals instantly had all my affection and interest in the first episode. It might have something to do with my favour towards the originals from tvd, but the show itself is extremely good and dare i say way better than TVD. And I have a feeling kyle aiden aqeel would like it better too. Can't wait for season 4 so that they start TO.

I know you're excited about them watching the Originals but saying TVD is good until a certain season is kind of a spoiler. Let them decide for themselves when they get to those seasons. Not everyone will like or dislike the same seasons as you.

Also, about the event thing! You guys and other reactors have mentioned that a lot! I will tell you as someone who was watching the show as it happened, I literally didn't even notice that they had that many events. Because to me it was one event a week, max. Where if you could watch more than one episode in a week it seems like a lot! So I feel like it's not really the show's fault it someone's watching it as not meant intended to be displayed. The very art of reacting makes it so that you cannot watch it as it was meant to be displayed. Because every time there is a shocking moment.. I didn't have the option to pause it! I just had to keep the story going and therefore there might be time that you have considered things that you would not have had the time to consider if you are watching live. And they add to the buildup of the storyline. So a lot of things fall a little flat compared to if you had to keep a pace with the show with no control. In some ways it's like watching a play on dvd. I mean ... I guess they're the same... But it's clear to see how they're not. And therefore the experience of the show is vastly different

This was a great episode and mikeal is a piece of shit and put his kids through hell like Rebekah said they weren’t born killers, with the whole Elena thing she was definitely right to do that bc think abt it you can get mad at your siblings and maybe even hate them but you’d never kill them 😂 it’s the same thing with them maybe even more so considering the promise they made each other “always and forever” so personally I don’t think Rebekah would have gone through with the plan she would have saved klaus buuutt great reaction can’t wait for the next one!!!

I can’t blame Elena for what she did. She was the only one out of the group who could’ve done it. I’m sure that if she didn’t had to she wouldn’t have daggered Rebekah. But they could’ve never been 100% sure that Rebekah is on their side. Klaus is her brother and she loved him for 1000 years. It’s hard to believe that she would just let him get killed after loving him for such a long time. Also there was the same situation with Elijah before. They trusted him and in the end he screwed them over. It’s understandable that they didn’t trust Rebekah so easily

Let me get this straight, if Damon killed Klaus, Klaus' hybrids that Mikael didn't compel would have killed Damon. But they don't talk about how he could have also died (since he's a vampire) from using the dagger. They all (Damon, Stefan, and Elena) just heard Mikael talk about how it a vampire couldn't use it without dying. Am I missing something?
