What a blast from the past, it`s this and other games like Tycoon Tex and such that has had me hooked on gaming all my life, I`m 49 now and the progress gaming has made has been absolutely phenomenal. I got my son hooked at an early age and now I even have my grandson hooked aswell. Pity I wont be around in 100 yrs or so to see where it ends up, a holodeck like Star Trek possibly, proper VR.

The auto fire is part of the game - no special joystick button needed 🙂

You know, have any other games used this concept, but taken it further? There have been games like _The World Ends With You_ , but seeing something like this all on one-screen and if the timelines could interact with each other based on needing to move between them is a very fun idea!

How about a multiplayer game playing like singleplayer one? Interaction between the yimelines would result in certain players breaking barriers, stunning or harming bosses, or taking treasure from other players timelines to add a competitive edge.

C64 games like Sanxion and Suicide Express used 2 play fields to show the game from different perspectives, but I'm not sure I can think of a direct parallel with Timeslip where you have simultaneous games on-screen at the same time.

Huh.. This related to Jet Boot Jack in any way? Wouldn't be surprised, considering the middle character looks exactly like him.

Very likely - Jon Williams was responsible for both games
