There is another argument. Amit shah had reminded of the Gujarat riots during Gujarat elections 2022. He will again talk about gujarat riots in 2024. BJP is clear that Gujarati Muslims want to move ahead and donot want to be embarrassed again and again discussing Gujarat riots. BBC has helped BJP but BJP propagates that BBC is a lier NOw even the new generations have realized that Supreme Court has dismissed the case, godra incident was the trigger and Modi - Amit shah are not involved

I fully agree with Sushil Pandit, but whatever Modi did was a strategic move in the interest of India. He succeeded in building up close relations with many OIC nations to India's benefit. Modi is secular by all means, and so are Yogi and the majority of Hindus as well. Most people are not anti-Islam, but anti-nuisance mongers. Modi and Yogi have different images, but don't forget, so do Pracharak Modi, C.M. Modi and P.M. Modi. Radicalists and politicians attached to them are the real culprits along with their pecuniary beneficiaries and the like, and I suppose Ashutosh and Tehseen may agree with me on that score. I have many close Muslim friends, but from my comments and some of my past actions, people may feel I am anti-Muslim. Therefore, although I agree with Sushil Pandit, the policy followed by Modi is slowly, slowly catchy monkey, which is irreversible, at least for the time being, and we need to bear with it for the time being in the interest of the nation.

When it comes to boycott, we have to distinguish between free speech and hate speech. Free speech without facts may still be tolerated but hate speech is never good for society and when it is devoid of facts , it deserves to be curbed in the larger interests. A documentary like this trying to baselessly project the PM in bad light and stoke communal animosity is nothing but hate speech. More so when indulged in by a public funded News broadcast media like BBC, which are expected to play to very exacting standards when it comes to disinformation peddling. Disinformation such as this is a facet of hate , of the govt, of India as a nation. There can be no straight away comparison of this ban with the ban on Rushdie book. Rather , It pains me that judges of our SC who jumped to justify sar tabse juda holding Nupur as culprit, adopting ostrich like attitude when it comes to political parties and leftist media repeatedly raking a matter put to rest by the SC itself. Political parties which have crores of loyal followers , and media which can impact thousands of minds, have to be hauled for contempt of court in such a case.
