Such incident creates loose of faith in UPSC (accepting medical report of private hospital) even after CAT court judgement & ignoring AIIMS Delhi repeated requests. UPSC chairman should be held responsible and suspended immediately. BJP promised of good governance and such incidents including NEET damaged BJP's claim amongst youth. Congress is sitting duck instead of standing with students also raise suspicion on opposition party also. God save the country.

They will claim that their high income is from agriculture, which is not taxable and varies annually allowing them to justify their qualification for OBC non-creamy layer status despite an annual income of ₹40 crore. Regarding the fake medical test, it is more an issue with the doctor and the officers who verified her eligibility.

The categorization of the creamy layer among OBCs as part of the General Category is correct. However, why are similar considerations not applied to SC/ST categories, where some families have been availing of reservation benefits for 3-4 generations?

Sir I am from UP, Even I know one such case - Uncle of one my friends has used OBC-NCL certificate to get into IAS - and my friend is actually very rich, they have many plots, may shops, they even have apartments which they rent - they are basically very rich.

Idk why people are making a big fuss about this. It’s more common than you think. I’ve had many friends who are very well off and studied in expensive private schools but made OBC Non-creamy layer certificate to make it in one of the better colleges. This is not only an injustice to the general category students who have good the same education as those who make fake creamy layer certificate, it’s even worse for those genuine people who should actually get the benefit of reservation.

Looks like systematic misuse of official power and position by family to garner disproportionate assets and clout and possible efforts to bribe and scare legit people out of their land. No wonder it has bred such a sad example of an trainee public servant. Her engagement should be terminated by the central govt and the family needs to be investigated to set an example.
