Joseph Muscat and his former senior lieutenants were charged with serious crimes over the hospitals scandal on Tuesday in an unprecedented case for Malta.
The former prime minister, Konrad Mizzi, Keith Schembri, and 20 other individuals and companies face accusations of bribery, trading in influence, money laundering, and various other crimes.

Tourist here who was in Valletta yesterday. The people who are supporting the politicians accused of being corrupt seem completely unhinged. Though I do not understand what anyone is saying to be fair.

Do you notice something? All the pro-Joseph people tend to be older, and with a lot of loose teeth. This is elder abuse at it's finest, where you take people who are unaware of their surroundings and vulnerable due to their economic state, and exploit that to get a lot of mindless zombies following you. Wish them all the best though, but not Joseph, the PL court in favor of developers literally said he's corrupt so....
