Last time I saw a boss rush of Time Spinner, it was almost 1 hour in lenght. So I gotta say, good job for nailing them so fast !

There's some kind of display bug. The layer seems off. I noticed one of the bosses attacks wasn't displaying. The last boss takes the cake. There weren't any visible platforms.

First game I can say I have this achievement. This game is so amazing. If you haven't played this game it is on par with replay like vagrant story or chronotrigger. So glad I played this game without a guide.

I think you missed a boss? It's a while since I played but I recall you could also fight a younger Nuvius before he became emperor. However it was also basically the same (even the same sprite, only no facial hair) so I'd understand if you simply skipped it.

@@Nathan-rb3qp considering I got the vibe Vol Terrilis was homophobic and killed the Queen just to spite Aelana for loving her (see the bloodstained letter), I don't see the issue in that. It's rather in how it goes from LGBTQ elements being weaved in (a relationship between two women is important to the backstory and treated as nothing exceptioal, was them two men or a man and woman it'd be the same) to them becoming increasingly insisted and shoved in until it's just ridiculous, like the mini sub-quest to escort an ally to his same-sex date, or a cutscene with the allies who discuss their sexualizaties rather than their whole life experiences which would flesh the world out. Also the heroine's mother treated as unquestionably good while the way she used a man as a mere sperm donor is what set a lot of the events in motion.

Beautiful game, on the short side but I gladly replayed several loops to get all the content and it's worth it. Feels like a game that was to come out on PS1 and Saturn in 1998, fell into a time portal and emerged 20 years later. It has several sprite recyclings, even in bosses (Aelana - Cantoran, Nuvius - Vol Terrilis) but even that feels in tune with the era. It's however the only game I know where the criticism about "woke" elements in it isn't just the paranoia of racists and homophobes. Starts out good in that regard but becomes increasingly insisted until it's just silly, culminating in a little set of optional sub quests were you ultimately help a guy get his gay date. I wonder who or what prompted the developer to go that route because the game perfectly stands on its own, just a publicity stunt that from what I remember, didn't even cause that big discourse at the time.

Timespinner is one game i bring up when topic of representation done badly comes up. Like really? Almos every character is gay, and we even have a trans love intrest? And if i remember correctly there even is some dialog where two characters are saying some stuff like "Oh i am gay, i have sex with that other person just to get my rocks off". It is a weird oddity of a game. I liked it overall, but the 'woke' got jarring.
