New Year’s Eve: A Night of Prayer for Israel

A gambling addiction ruined my life and ended a 20 year marriage, but in the rubble of what I thought was my life, Jesus found me. As I sit here in this moment, I don't have a job, I don't have a car, I don't have a girlfriend and I can count male friends with one hand. I am alone on new years with my two cats. I am happy to report that what I just said does not really matter that much because. I have JESUS. When I was in a homeless shelter in 2014 I wrote this poem. My Journey Lest I stumble, lest I fall Let me beseech thee and answer thy call From the lowest Valley to the highest peak True salvation I do seek May my faults not be fatal Let your strength shine through In my darkest hour LORD Let me find you By Don Zimmerman 12/26/2014 I have had many dark hours since. Heavenly Father, we give you praise and thanks for providing for our daily needs, for always being on hand to listen when we pray, for never forsaking us and for meeting us here right now. Please be with Naomi, touch her and heal her from head to toe. Take away anything that is not of you and replace it with your peace, love, joy, and grace. Be with her mother and family, allow them to feel your presence. Provide for them opportunities to be with fellow Christians in some manner so they can get the added fellowship and support they need.
