I love my 6500x and the entire link system with my 12th gen i9 and 4090 the case looks beautiful all decked out great reviews as usual mate.

The case is "Meh!"; more mesh, less mess! Corsair have wandered off the reservation a bit with this one; okay, design would have been yonks ago; but so would everyone else's efforts.... and if they have any nous, they would have been ears to the rails for this. The rush quite likely was18 months ago; or whenever they began design; when they realised everyone else was in design doing this. When Thermaltacky are making you look a bit crap; you've got a problem. These berks need to do something; or it will all go tits up and Intel! Video review is great; IMHO one of your best. Succinct and perfectly formed, even with the focus-lag when your camera was looking at the solid side panel. You mentioned shot-framing; I could see Micheala: you are good to go! 😃 TTFN, TTL. 😉

I am trying to find a slimmer case than what I am using now and thought this case would make a good replacement for the 540Air that I am using now.

At this specific case with these specific fans I hate the too short pwm/rgb daisy chain cables! please Corair add 5-10cm to these cables! The whole top panel is kind of cheap (1 time it was bent like the phanteks case) and careful with the glass panels because the glue with the "attachers" is not too strong!

the 8-pin connector doesnt quite fit through there in the back?... have you tried getting the other end of the cable though the cutout from top to bottom? i'm 100% sure this should work as the PSU sided plugs are quite a bit smaller than the peripheral plugs

I got the rgb version that uses the new icue connectors and not these argb

My favorite case is the Phantek NV5 and this looks like a cheaper imitation of that.

@@OC3D TBH, it is quite pleasent when a review arrives in its own good time; instead of 4-6hrs of viewing piling up all at once! And they are often all the better for it e.g. AMD cpu reviews are all over the place this release and to listen to some folk you'd think the Gates of Hell had opened.

So their case doesnt really support their psu. brilliant engineering eh? Pathetic oversight, eh. suckers will buy it because it's "neato glass" and get it home and start their build only to find out its not so neato. at least it's cheap.

Good review. Mediocre case at best. NV5 and any other copy and paste before that done a better job.
