É só pensar que no português existem diferentes verbos que indicam uma mesma ação, no entanto, um é mais comum de usar do que o outro. No dia a dia falamos pôr a roupa, colocar a roupa, vestir uma roupa, mas nunca falamos "vou ali me enroupar", este último verbo significa pôr uma roupa.

@@SamyaKarol Todos que eu pesquisei falaram que o correto é wear para coisa como brincos, colar, óculos etc. Pelo menos wear é mais usado no geral, tanto que no vídeo a mulher fala wear logo com intenção de corrigir ele. Sobre roupas, pode usar Put on para dizer que vai se vestir, mas para dizer que está usando alguma roupa, é wear, ou seja: I'm wearing my favorite clothes. ( Vestindo) I'll put on my favorite clothes. ( Vai se vestir) He was wearing a brown uniform. [VERB noun] I sometimes wear contact lenses. [VERB noun] She can't make her mind up what to wear What you are 'wearing'is the result of what you have 'put on' .
