My friends dad raced Budweiser boats back then. His flipped during a race and he was paralyzed. I met him when I was about 10 yrs old. Sutton was the name Of I remember correctly. Thanks for vids

Never knew Mike Chamberlin did drag boat racing. I know him best for covering the Mickey Thompson Off-Road series.

It's funny I never knew he covered any motorsports. I knew him as the sports anchor for our local independent station and later on a prime time anchor for our local CBS station here in Phoenix

It's not called Firebird anymore. The drag strip is gone as of 2023 I don't know about the water
