Great tips here, and a damn cool Timex. I once had an experience in which the split pin somehow just fell out (and I was certain i'd put it back as far as it could after shortening the bracelet). After that I always slightly "open up" the split end just a tiny, tiny bit to ensure the fit will be tighter (if that makes sense) when putting it back in.

I want to remove the bracelet on mine but dont have a clamp or that smaller tool , i only have a normal spring bar tool 😢
