We can get it back. Just have to quit electing idiots.
@JohnCashin3 жыл бұрын
@@runningbear1982 Yes, that's certainly a part of it but also, the other thing is the particular generation that was around at the time, because, most of us who were fairly young back then, perhaps the oldest of the young people of the 80s, eg, in our 20s, would have been born in the 1960s, which means that as far as going to clubs and all that went, we were way too young to experience the 60s on that level, obviously, and in the 1970s, we would have been in school, although, there were some who started raving when they were still in school and I myself started in my final year. The point I'm making here is we never really, properly got into the scene until the 1980s, when school was out for most of us and we then had to build our OWN identity that was different from the clubbers of the 1970s and the 1960s etc, things were kind of meshed together in a high-tech, upgraded kind of way, and so, this is how the 1980s came about. It's the same with every generation, they do things differently to make their own identity and this is why it can never be quite the same today. It's the young generation of each decade that dictate how things roll and the young people today, in the 2020s wouldn't want to do things in the same style we did them or listen to the music we once did, at least, not outside, they might listen to it quietly like we might have listened to bygone era music and never admitted it openly, like, I used to listen to the Beatles and The Four Tops but no way would I have shouted that from the rooftop back in the 80s or played their music on cassette out on the street 🤣. It can never be the same today but we can enjoy the memories and KZbin is a great place to get back that vibe that we once knew and connect with others who are around our age and had the same experiences. Best wishes.

I heard this music back in 86 in California. And for years ive been trying to get ahold of it. But had no idea the name of the group. So went to Wikipedia and searched top100 hits 1986 and there it was at 77. Got that music stuck on my head for several years.
