You will be amazed at how quickly your house fills up with stuff and leaves you struggling to find more places to put things. That is when you enter the organizational phase of homeownership. Once organized you have more room for more stuff which usually fills up again in less than a year. You resort to converting the garage from a place to park your cars into a storage room. Filling the garage up can take another year or two. Then you must choose to either have a garage sale or shop for a larger home. Welcome to home ownership...it’s a process.

Loving the house guys! Top tips for fruit trees, get grafted trees! We planted avocado from seed and it could be years before we get any fruit! Banana trees also grow super quick and produced fruit in 6-9months! We just redid our brown kitchen here and painted all cabinets white with white subway tiles and it looks amazing! Loving my 'Tripped' backpack! I keep my Pickleball gear in it, so prior to Covid, it got a daily use...and I'm still awaiting the ok to play here in our area, so my backpack 'awaits'! Your new home is LOVELY, and one to be proud of....but, Tim will have to paint, so how's that going to work? Three bedrooms....one for you two, and one for a 'little Tim' and a sister for little Tim down the road! Shouldn't be long, where you can put your feet up, and relax in your new home...a wonderful time & age to have such an asset! Stay safe you two!

We bought a house from an older woman and she had mustard yellow paint in a lot of the rooms as well. Luckily our mustard yellow also went with red shag carpet so it was definitely a sight to see!

I like the lighter wood! And love that Tim’s mom actually lent her swan to you! Boats pretty much come with built in furniture, but when we bought our catamaran there wasn’t one cushion or mattress on it. We used blow up mattresses and random padding for a long time 😂

Put the flooring in the corner and let it get dusty. Then move it around in different light and times of day to see which shows dust and pet hair the most. Don't use that one.

Congratulations on the new house, it looks great and seems perfect! We just bought a new house on an island in Michigan. Though it isn't as blue as yours, it's still needs some dramatic upgrades from 1994 to somewhere in this decade. We have also finished traveling by RV off and on in the last 18 months (thanks for all the travel tips in the Yellowstone and Teton videos). We are selling the RV and getting ready to travel to different global locations with the kiddos. We are so excited! Congratulations on your home! Honestly, it looks like it has great bones and just needs a little love & cosmetic work. When it comes to your flooring, put it up against the wall once you have chosen your paint color, and then pick your flooring. I really like the lighter color but it maybe too light since you’re going with White.

It's a nice home, guys! The pool is my favorite. :) I think those low windows are weird - it throws the rooms' height off. I'd remove all the ledges and things hanging down from the ceiling like in the kitchen. Gives it a cleaner look and will also make the room look bigger. And no, do not keep that nasty carpet! Either color for the flooring would look great!
