I have been out of crafting for about 20 years. I was a die hard scrapbooker when my kids were young. Then they grew up….. I think I have watched this video and your ink and oxide video about 10 times each over the last year (among many other videos of yours). I learn something new each time even it’s something small. It’s also made me a much braver crafter when it comes to blending inks and oxides. At first I would buy the exact sprays or pads you used and copied your technique exactly. As we all know art never comes out the same way twice. So there were some that hit the trash before any one could see them. But now I feel much more comfortable with me doing me. I just wanted to thank you for everything you’ve done and do for our community. Sorry this was so long. Again, thank you.

I know I am very late to this video, but your information doesn't expire so I am glad you leave your videos up. One aspect of your presentations I appreciate is your positive attitude, when I watch I know I will get my information delivered by someone who often days, "sure, you can do that!", which is rare to find. Thank you.

Thank you Tim, Mario and Ranger as a newbie to the whole Tim Holtz range and crafting. It's so helpful that i can watch these demonstrations and learn how to use the products but also the confidence to experiment. I love the "you do you" and "you get what you get and you dont throw a fit" outlook. Looking forward to many more hours of fun with all of you. Big love from London England ❤

I have watched your videos faithfully and been inspired. I have been using Mica Sprays and Spritzers but not my Distress sprays. Somehow I missed this video ?? I learned so much.

Please help 😃 I’ve bought 12 oxide sprays, and no matter what I do they turn grey. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Any advice would be graciously accepted. I love your videos. I have gotten so much inspiration from them.

@@betinakroner7777 Oxides are designed to “oxidize” when sprayed with water (which is the white/grey finish). The more water you apply the more they will oxide. My suggestion would be to use less water when blending colors.

Watching this for the first time, though I’ve started to dabble with distresses. But it’s confusing. Is there a pdf I can put on my wall?!
@timholtz Жыл бұрын
I agree it can be overwhelming. There is not a specific pdf to print to explain all of the art mediums although I do have an online course called "Creative Chemistry" that includes printable technique labels. www.onlinecardclasses.com/product/tim-holtz-creative-chemistry-101/
