I've seen Amish homes mostly on tv, through interviews and tours of a property. They do not have much in their homes. They might light several candles to provide light. Or start a fire. If they have a stove or oven it's gas. Use a match, strike it, it'll light and throw the match in the stove burner you want to use. If you need to use the bathroom, you have to go to a port o potty outside and it sort of looks like a small claustrophobic phone booth. All furniture and decor is handmade. Bedding, beds and chairs, and much more.

Interesting idea that each girl has her own team to begin with ! I see the narrative sense here . This will make the assembling of team rwby a fresh feeling development . The problem this brings though is way too many characters though. One way I would adapt this idea is to make it teams of 3 not four. That would be truly helpful for the character bloat we are already experiencing. I’d get rid of Ilya (from Weiss team) and Mercury (from yangs team), the malachite twins (from Blake’s). This can be explained by saying that first years get teams of 3 and then second years get different teams of 4. This is because many first years drop out or cannot continue due to injuries . Therefore the academy begins them in smaller temporary teams .
