A Culture Discussion with Edgar Schein

Thank you for this insightful conversation. I am a retired Ob/Gyn surgeon who has entered an MBA program. Although early in the program, it is apparent that doctors and business persons communicate in completely different ways.The awareness of the effect of training on culture in business is the first discussion of change theory that makes sense to me. One needs to understand the language or, at least, know that there is a miscommunication before a change is possible.
