That's a rule No.2 for any guy. Rule No.1 is if you die tell your mate to make sure your wife won't sell your tools at the price you told her you bought them for.

Tim, it's always a pleasure watching your video series I have literally been building chassis and drag cars with my father since I was 9 yrs old he had me bending and notching tubing and tacking it into place and the bug has just bit me and never left! I am 52 now and he's 77 and its hard to believe that it's been that damn long!! It's always enjoyable to watch a true craftsman such as yourself and there are so many guys that call themselves chassis builders now days I am beginning to just call myself a chassis craftsman because like you and I am not saying I have the shop and all the cnc equiptment that you have such as the tubing bender or the CNC 3 or 5 axis plasma or water jet cutters I still do a lot of my stuff the old way but I truly enjoy watching someone who loved this craft as much as I do, thank you for all your videis if someone can watch them and say they haven't learned sometging, they are a fucking liar!! Keep up the great work and doing such a quality job with your chassis and entire builds ya never get boring or tireing to watch or listen to,Thanks again!!

Simple, no bullshit, informative, educational and comical lol great vids. Thanks for the professional information that you’re providing, people don’t understand how much effort and guts it takes to put out free information such as this in the drag racing world. You’ll never see any roundtrack chassis builders providing free secrets and info. of the trade.

I like the tool purchase justification at the end. My wife wants a new carport built. Not a crew that has time to. I can sure do it. All I need is several tools that lend to chassis fabrication. Now all I need is a good excuse for purchasing the materials to build a chassis jig and I’ll be set.

should have pointed out that tape measures can varry, you can test your tape by makeing several measurements on a piece of straight at several points from both ends. the problems usually show up after a few feet. if more than 1 tape will be used on a project they need to be checked against each other.

Lovely stuff. Something that would up the production value would be a steadymount for the camera. Especially in these rather static scenes at the table the background wobble stands out.

No worries. Appreciate the build vids. Raced nearly all my life and I'm a fabricator but chassis are a whole other animal but I'm learning...
