Thanks for the kind words, guys! 🙂 I wasn't only unlucky in this game, I was unlucky with the whole group and met two other Underworld Dreams decks, which also don't care about Arboria 😂 I've temporarily disbanded the deck to play something else in the Winter Derby, but will put it together again for another ODOL, but with some modifications. PS: I didn't play the Crumble because it wouldn't have made a difference since I think my cards in hand were 3 or more to cast, so I couldn't cast them anyway. Cheers, Joen Erik

Bad luck for sure! I really liked your concept. It would be fun to watch you play it when it works properly.

Tough breaks for Joen Erik. I really liked his deck though and would loved to have seen more of it. Good games.

This is the best way to test your deck and see what improvements you need to make 🤘

Nice try Joen! Best way to know how to improve your deck is by playing against a great deck! Keep it up 🤘

His deck looked so good. I thought it would have played better. Bad luck on his pulls! By the way, I really appreciate your deck commentary at the beginning of each video. Lots of fun to watch that.

Thanks 🙌, I agree, his deck looks solid and can perform much better. That game where he had 3 dreams out was so close!

Does anyone have any insight into why Darkness is the most expensive common in Legends? There seems to be other commons in Legends that are played much more. Also, I don't understand how Darkness is worth over $20 while Holy Day is worth about $1.

Arboria is one of those cards that make you want to brew... I'm still thinking about Arboria Mill myself.

why wern't you tapping the ivory tower to turn it off? Doesn't oldschool turn off mono artifacts when they are tapped, a la 1st ed. rules book?
@TimmytheSorcerer

Hi Aaron, it doesn’t work like that anymore. You still have two artifacts that you can turn off, because it is specifically states in their oracle text, those artifacts are Winter Orb and Howling Mine. I found this article about the history of this aloha/beta rule very interesting to read btw, magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/feature/and-2002-04-10

How are you attacking with Tim and using Maze of Ith on him while still dealing damage with him? Maze removes the creature from combat preventing all damage dealt to and by it. I'm missing something.

You can do this in the end of combat fase after damage is dealt

@@koendertruifrok567 wow this is strange, reminds me of when damage went on the stack. Thanks for pointing the ruling out for me!

Hi Ollie, the combat step is divided in 5 phases, you can activate the maze after damage has been dealt, this is the End of Combat phase. You can find more info about it here, mtg.fandom.com/wiki/Combat_phase

You never apologize for winning that is "crocodile tears" same goes for poker....saying "I am sorry" after you felt another player and take his/her entire chip stack is more insulting than anything as you sure as hell are not going to give that person back the chips.If you are playing a circle game of hacky sack and kick a friend in the balls you apologize and say "I am sorry" as you did not intentionally kick him in the balls.
