God, the venom he puts on his strikes. Incredible. He’s one of those players who plays best when turning off his brain and just going on instinct. I think he’s going to have that opportunity with us and I’m excited to see him back to his best.

I’m under no delusions. This guy hasn’t shown up much in the last few years. He’s unlikely to be a miracle worker for Spurs. HOWEVER, you can’t deny that the possible upside for him at Spurs is quite good. In these highlights, you can see that he is a player capable of scoring very good goals. He will surely at least push Richarlison for starts. He kept playing at Chelsea even when out of form. Usually, that means that a player is working hard and putting in performances in training. So maybe all he needs is the confidence back.

the problem with Werner is that they always wanted to play him as a number 9, when he's just an associative striker, he'd excel at second striker role if teams ever go back to play 4-4-2. But since Klose retired they didnt know how to put Werner in there, they also ended up hurting Gnabry's game by putting him as a lone striker In sometimes. And in Chelsea he never had a striker or good wingers to associate with.
