Alonso is smart and he goes at his own pace, he’s a young manager and he started with Real Sociedad 2nd team, he wants to keep improving and he already has an amazing project with Bayer Leverkusen, he built an insane team and I think he will stay another year, this season he’s wining Bundesliga. Even tho Liverpool or Bayern need a manager, and in the case he leave to one of those teams his endgame will always be managing Real a Madrid

I’d say it’s down to a mix of genetics (lean frame, fast twitch but durable muscle fibres, top lung capacity), youth and excellent conditioning. Edit: and most importantly mentality and desire to actually do it! That can’t be taught in my experience, hunger is innate.

Quedándose Xabi podrian hacer el esfuerzo para retener a Fringpong por lo menos una temporada más, Grimaldo seguramente siga, los centrales son buenos principalmente Hincapié y Tapsoba, si le encuentran algun complemento mas físico a Xahka en el centro del campo podrian hacer una gran trmporada de champions, el arquero es bueno pero necesitarian uno mas joven que compita. Lo mas complicado sin duda seria perder a Wirtz pero de ocurrir no habria manera de reemplazarlo, solo modificar el esquema de juego

If the big Bundesliga teams played with Man City's or Arsenal's 3-2-4-1 tactics, Alonso's attacking wingbacks could've been nullified. His tactic is similar to Conte's at Chelsea and it would likely not work in Europa League final

The 3-2-4-1 if you think about it is not dissimilar to Alonso’s 5-2-2-1.. the only difference is that Alonso has two actual 6s as opposed to one 6 and a defender

My dream is that he stays at least for two more seasons to try and win everything with leverkusen and improve his game. There is a sizable chance that he stays , not only because he seems smart , patient and trying to take his time and getting better first before moving on to the next challenge , BUT also because the direction of the team seems to be building a pretty coherent and exciting project... Don't forget , Alonso is not the only reason leverkusen is amazing this season , the transfers made by the sporting director and co. are excelent , they are the ones responsible for the quality of the squad and chosing Alonso himself despite his lack of experience or a great track record , they are doing an excelent job at scouting and signing.
