I trained at RADA, and I think I have finally understood what makes Timothee as great as he is. He is hyper focused on the other person. So invested and absorbing of everything in front of him. Almost manically. And why his performances are masterpieces is you know it is because he looks around. Intensively. He isn’t the self absorbed actor. He is the actor that is fascinated by everything and everyone around him and every fine detail. You can see that in his work, it’s an embodiment of accuse observation to the world around him. That is what being a true actor is. It’s not glamorous and flashy like a lot of people think. It’s a human and social analytical study that you use your body to perform and share with the world. I think we are only just seeing the very beginning of this incredible young man.

Dune has recently touched my soul in a way most films are unable to, and I beleive this is largely due to the incredible portrayal of the protagonist by Timothee. No doubt this man is on a trajectory for superstardom. I desperately hope it doesn't erode his authenticity, zest for life and his love of film. His excitable, authentic and energetic personality is so rare in Hollywood these days. Emma Stone clearly feeds off his energy in this interview. An absolute joy to watch. Thank you 🙏

@PietreADI That's not appropriate to say! Who is overhyped and under hyped is not the decision you are to make man, I'm sorry but it really isn't. And I'm not a teenage girl, I'm a woman. I like his performance, he really brings out life to his characters. Elio Perlman played by him in Call Me By Your Name is one of his best performances and that deserves some appreciation. Anybody who has seen the movie and understood it will say how well he played the role. Coming to this interview, did you even watch it? He almost mentioned all of Emma Stone's movies and asked some sensible questions. Emma is one of my favourites, I was just hoping that she would mention one of his best works, which is Call Me By Your Name.
