The theory is since Wendy panicking, it cause the brake and the thing become much more damage so without even the camera. The roller coaster still going to derailed. Camera just make it faster in premoniton, but since no camera, the thing still broken and Wendy holding it back it make it worse

When the girl was shot repeatedly in the head with a nail gun, he turned to me and said, “I once had to operate on someone like that. Fun facts on this movie: • The cast members on the roller coaster had to ride it 26 times on the same night in order to shoot the film's main premonition scene. •This is the first film in the series to have all of the main characters die in the same order that they are introduced in as opposed to the order they die in during the premonition sequence. •The forklift that assists in Erin's death is called Unit 081. •Ashley and Ashlyn have "Ash" as shortened versions of their name. They both burn to death in tanning beds. • The ending was reshot, reportedly because of unfavorable reactions at preview screenings. This also happened with the previous two films in the series. •It took 20 takes for the hammer to fall on the forklift gearshift correctly in the home improvement store. • Most of the roller coaster footage was filmed on the "Corkscrew" at Playland, part of the Pacific National Exhibition in Vancouver, British Columbia. The actual ride is much tamer and slower (only contains a double corkscrew inversion) compared to "Devil's Flight", which contains multiple vertical loops and multiple corkscrew sections. In order to achieve such a roller coaster, CGI was applied to the roller coaster set, which contained a hydraulic setup that mimic the actual roller coaster. • Ashley Tisdale auditioned for the role of Erin but lost. Vanessa Hudgens auditioned for the role of Julie, but lost to Amanda Crew. •In Japan, the film is renamed "Final Deadcoaster". • Ian's last name, the high school's name, and the town's name of McKinley all refer to President William McKinley, who was assassinated. •While in line at the drive-thru, a Hice Pale Ale truck backs into Kevin's car, which traps both he and Wendy in the car. The same Hice Pale Ale truck is also seen in Final Destination 2 (2003). • The name of the salon is "Phoenix Tanning Salon". • Alexz Johnson(Erin) is a Disney Star for her being the 3rd Season Protagonist in “So Weird”. Fun fact: Wendy was the one who is supposed to be crushed by that 'McKinley' sign, the hint 'McKinley' was referred to the sign that crushed Ian and not Ian himself, but since Ian stopped Wendy going under that sign, he 'prevented' her death, which means Ian is next to die and was killed with what supposed to kill Wendy.

Fun Fact: The DVD of this has a sort of choose your own adventure thing and it’s pretty fun. You get to choose who dies and who lives. Also, The Devil statue at the roller coaster and the train conductor at the end are both voiced by Tony Todd. So while his character from the first two movies isn’t in this one, his presence is still felt.

It's theorized that Frankie's camera simply sped up the process of the rollercoaster crash, but I think his only ruptured the hydrolics of the seats the coaster was always meant to fail and it still killed the occupants of the first several rows of seats when it derailed.

Its a common misconception that Frankie's Camera caused the rollercoaster crash. All the camera did was unlock their seats. The Coaster was ALWAYS going to derail regardless off the seat locks.

So, there is actually a novelization of this movie that goes more in depth as to why Wendy's sister wasn't supposed to be at the theme park and why Wendy was upset about it. In the book, it is explained that Julie has a heart condition and that's why she wasn't supposed to be there because it was dangerous for her. Also, the novel actually uses the original version of the jock's death that was supposed to happen before they settled on the one used in the movie. The 80's Slasher Librarian here on youtube has recorded and posted an audiobook of the novel if you guys are interested in listening to it! 23:18

The tanning bed one scarred me as a little kid and it was my mom's favorite one along with the first one so they're the most memorable to me. I remember a couple of scenes of the second one as a kid but never watched the 4th. I was like 3-4 yrs old watching bits and parts of these movies so I was beyond scared 😂

It was not featured in the theatrical cut of the film and is generally considered to be non-canonical. You can of course see it as canon, but that would be like me saying Frankie Cheeks survived because it's possible in this special. The fact is, they defeated death by having Kimberly die and be resurrected. There's no better way to trick death.

There is A CHANCE they could have survived, also The second one They did survive, Even if they survived, everyone dies, but the goal is to get OFF deaths immiediate list, Getting off that list gets you a chance at a full life, but that jumping to a new list is a gamble, you don't know what number you are on that new list, but the good thing about switching lists is you become a civilian again, living life like everyone normally does , never knowing but at least knowing you are not... This is the first one i ever saw and i had always been afraid of Rollercoasters, even before watching the movie! The following year(back in 2007) , i decided to try to get over my fear of them. When my sister said that her and my little brother, along with some friends were going to knotts berry farm, i wanted to join. First Rollercoaster: Silver Bullet....LOVED IT!!! Fast forward a few months, my sister would go to six flags(Magic Mountain) with a friend. I definitely wanted to go!!!! Rollercoasters at Knotts were ok, but i could imagine that Six Flags Rollercoasters would be MORE "Scary"/extreme/ intense/ more exciting!! Since then, ive made it a habit/routine .....to watch the Rollercoaster scene the night before i go to six flags!!! Start feeling the adrenaline rush, the excitement...TRY......to get a little scared since i love Rollercoasters so much now!!!

They could still potentially survived this train crash tho. Yeah, maybe Death will still chase them down eventually but they could've still survived this one to delay it again. But FD2 survivors lived tho, atleast canonically. The newsclipping thing you might start hearing about is in a scrapped scene. But anyways...... Wendy now has information on how the train death sequence will go. All that needs to happen is to direct them into spots that are away from what caused their deaths. Julie needing to stay down for example. Of course, that doesn't mean they are going to get out unscathed, probs surviving by the skin of their teeth atleast. If Kevin and Julie lived til the end after the vision, maybe they could've pulled Wendy off the tracks to get her out of the incoming train's way. But anyway, her having that vision p much, for me, tells that there's a chance they lived unless they confirm it like they did with FD1 survivors in FD2.

This was my very first horror movie I've watched when I was in the 10th grade lol I write horror Lmaoooo but hadn't watched any horror movies so...strange? Lmao! I remember when I was home alone and saw the blockbuster movies on the coffee table and that movie was there for mybig brother and dad lol challenging myself I put it on and both of them came back home in time to see the opening credits and asked what I'm doing and I casually said I'm watching the movie lol and they both sit down on different couches and are watching the movie at the same time of checking up on me Lmaoooo then the rollercoaster scene happened and my mouth dropped. Was I scared? No lol I said to them yoooo the artwork they put into this lol I was so fascinated that I needed more lol now at 33 I'm a huge horror fanatic lmao 10th grade, every Friday night, my best friend and I watched horror movies and I also had my horror movie nights with my dad eating Doritos chips and drinking Dr. Pepper lol best memories :)

Only Kimberly and the Cop( Final Destination 2) surived int the serires. I dont knoe why they did not bring the therery in 2nd on here. They only mention 180 and implement a new theroy (photos) here. And I think the ending here is the most brutal one, and the girl actually experienced the train crash twice, and it is so brutal as she knew it will happen but nothing will stopped it .
