This man makes me ashamed to be Catholic. He is right to condemn the 7 October attacks as evil. However, he has the brass neck to talk about the dignity of human life, while defending the state that has murdered over 40,000 Palestinians and dismisses legitimate criticism of Israel as antisemitism. Perhaps Palestinians and Muslims aren't entitled to the same dignity and respect as Christians and Jews?
