Azealia wasn’t the only one. If you’re in a younger generation you’ve probably never seen it, but if you’re someone who has watched Wild N Out since it’s initial run in the mid 00’s you might remember this - on one of the early seasons of Wild N Out, back in like 2006-2007, Pauly Shore was the guest they had on to be the team captain of the other team. He walked off stage in Wildstyle. They started it and Nick Cannon went first, and I can’t remember what he said but Pauly Shore got all in his feelings and walked off stage, talking about “oh everybody’s been saying they’re my friend all night and now they’re dissing me, I’m sick of people always dissing me” or some shit like that. That’s not word for word but it was something to that effect. He walked off stage and Nick went after him backstage and had to convince him to come back out on stage. He came back on stage and finished the game, but after Nick had to give him a sheet of paper with some lines written by the writers and/or producers that he could rap during the Wildstyle. He kinda ruined the vibe. But to his credit, he wasn’t as bad as Azealia was though. Even though he did make it super awkward, he had least had the benefit of not being as obnoxious about it as Azealia was.
