So good - helps us all to get to real Christian living, where we're actually changed. 1) Make sure you really apprehend the gospel. 2) Know the particular flesh idols that tend to guide you at any one time. 3)Hold on to the gospel as the overarching thing you look to.

Thank you so much for sharing this message both part 1 & 2. TK mines so many precious gems that I would never ever see on my own. His preaching enlarges my love and gratitude for what God has done for me in Jesus. My appreciation for God grows when I listen. And I hope it never stops growing.

All those years of study all these years of study by Keller and he still doesn’t realize we are no longer called “sinner”. It’s over. We are seated with Christ in the heavenliess. No sinner can sit there.

1 Tim 1:14-15 And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. Looks like Paul himself said he is a sinner and a saint. Your comment is lacking the full counsel of God’s Word

This is error. The Christian is never called evil in the epistles. They are called saints, holy, beloved of God. This is our identity, period! The “old man” is dead with Christ’s crucifixtion. Raised with him to new life. We just need to acknowledge this and reckon the old man DEAD. This is our calling.

What a bunch of of toxic nonsense. Using that story of the family that lost their 3 children is low.

Zach. Can you kindly articulate specifics of why it is toxic nonsense? I found this sermon immensely helpful and would be helped if i missed something. Thanks.
@zach2980

@@2musiclover534 Tim believed that believers and nonbelievers are born evil. But that few are chosen, however most of these equally “evil” people are predestined to hell. How is this not sick and toxic? I consider it nonsense because it makes no sense in light of a proclaimed Omni God. I consider it sick and toxic because I think that a parent that views their children as ultimately evil are themselves sick and suffering from a toxic concept. Any parent that could save all their children, but chose to create them whilst knowing they never would but proceeded to create them anyway is the epitome of evil.
