This honestly makes me want to cry. I’ve been a fan of this guy since I was a kid when I first saw him in Luck of the Irish. I am such a huge fan of his and am so glad he has recovered. He is very lucky to have gotten through it because my grandfather sadly never did and I know Luke Perry had a severe one that killed him as well. It's terrifying it really is. I worked in the rehab unit and took care of stroke patients and helped them every day get through it until I ended up injured and was forced to leave patient care.
@JamaicanRain Жыл бұрын
Only partially recovered, but yeah, I would say he qualifies as getting through it. Z Our descendants, however much into the future that is, will be very lucky to have a vaccine, gene/vein therapy before birth, or medicine to cure/100% prevent strokes.

Too many people recorded it rather than watching it live. Myself, when it was on I thought it was just typical Disney faire and let it pass. It wasn't until Mallory Jansen showed up on Agents of SHIELD and I was seeing comments comparing her character to Madelena on Galavant that I decided to check out the show and loved it. I actually had a mini stroke after i came out of a coma i was in for a couple of days due to carbon monoxide poisoning. Was weak on the left side of my body and had to do both PT and OT to regain my strength. It was so frustrating that i couldn't type probably or get my words out with ease for a while there. It took me about 3 weeks to get back to walking somewhat and more with additional PT. This was just with a mini stroke. I can't even imagine with a massive stroke how difficult it would be to get back to at least somewhat normal.
