It looks like the Martin Machine is hitting on all cylinders with them handles, he’s a skilled young man and you can tell he takes pride in his work 👍

Such beautiful craftsmanship. Instead of wishing for one of yours, I just might go hit up the antique shops for a head and try to make my own handle. I was a wood former for many years before I went back to school for machining. Inspiring!!

Enjoying the axe restorations! Wish I had the tools you have to restore all the axes I come across. Collecting axes is a sickness, I feel your pain when you say you don’t want to get rid of them 😂.

Tim! I'm really liking the axe restoration series here. Would love to see other similar stuff in the future. Its nice to see things get refurbished and reused in the world today

Hey! Love the video's man! I would love for you to reuse those old handles on another project. Maybe a series of puuko knives!

Sharpening and replacing the shaft is hardley a restoration. But it sure looks nice afterwards.

I have zero use for an axe…yet I love watching these videos. Very fun, especially while preserving history.

The 75+ axes on my garage and the buckets of rusty heads to be cleaned says I can relate with not being able to let them go. 🤦♂️

Took me forever to realize there was a typo, I just kept re-reading it and couldn't figure it out.

Tim, I am digging this 10 Days of Axes - especially how much you fall in love with them and don't want to let them go. But please, in the name of whatever god you believe in, do something about the vice!
@brendanneis19353 жыл бұрын
There a typo in the title Tim! Unless you meant "riving" as in "to split or tear apart violently" but after watching the video I do not believe o saw any axes being rived!

Hey I’m newer to the channel. I was wondering why we don’t really ever see Martin working on things? I personally would love to see him shaping the handles as it’s such an important part of the axe. Thanks in advance to anyone with insight on this.
