Showing the garage and basement is appreciated as those are a major consideration for me. Did you notice if it has an attic? I couldn't tell if that was a skylight in the closet, a square overhead light or an access to an attic space.

This home is really stunning, I love all the windows giving you so much natural light. I love the wooden shelves in the closets. This house is perfect for a nice sized family and has so much potential with that enormous basement. I love the pet wash area in the laundry room. I could see myself living there. Great tour, thank you

Love it Tim!!! ❤️ One of my favorites.
@tamielizabethallaway24133 жыл бұрын
It's a quality build for sure! Great craftsmanship throughout. Immaculate! Can't fault it on that score. Diyanni are obviously excellent top-notch builders.The floorplan is great too...although you missed the half bath at the top of the basement stairs - not sure about it's placement right next to the dining table though! 😳 But yeah the 3½ bathrooms is great. The doggy shower is also a perfect addition. All of the rooms flow well and make sense. It's stunning. ..... That morning room is exactly what an English conservatory looks like! Someone, maybe you Tim? wondered what a conservatory is once....well, generally speaking it's added onto the house, it's not part of the original build like this one is, but even this one juts out from the house almost like it's been added later. Conservatories aren't "cheap" BUT they are a much cheaper alternative to a full on brick built extension to a house, and don't require as much, if any, planning permission. So they're popular as a second lounge or to use as a dining room. They have windows and patio doors all the way round exactly like this one does. English houses are way smaller than what you're used to! Well, unless you're extremely rich or royalty! You have 5x the population to what we have... BUT, we're about the same size landwise as Alabama! So imagine a 5th of your country's people, living in one state! A high percentage of our homes were built in the early Victorian period, many are older than that! Our town church was built in the 12th century, year 1100 and something! A lot of our inns and pubs are exactly where they were when built during Tudor times, and still have the original beams and fireplaces. My bungalow (I don't own it!) was built in the 1960's, but the older Victorian homes were built originally without even bathrooms. So those same houses needed an addition built on in later years, or sacrificed a bedroom. Many are terraced, meaning the houses are joined in a row. A bit like the Brownstones I've seen on Sex and the City. So even if you wanted to extend a LOT, you couldn't anyway...unless you bought the one next door too and knocked the joining walls out. So yeah, we're used to family homes with 1 bathroom or 1½ in the later mid century builds. So that's what a conservatory is anyway, for whoever it was that asked me once...? We don't have your weather as well remember, so to us a conservatory is a way to sit in a portion of your garden space, having full views on all 3 sides, but not getting chilly or wet! 😁 ..... As lovely as this house is, it's A) not as stunning as the first Diyanni house you toured. B) as much as I love all the windows, I don't like the chunky modern style of these ones. C) I'm not a fan of double height ceilings, they take a lot more £££'s to keep warm, and are a nightmare to clean and decorate! I also feel they waste upper space that could be extra rooms instead. D) it is stunning, the first one was even more so, but they're not "me". I described the first Diyanni as "A Great Gatsby" house, and that sums up exactly how these houses make me feel. Gatsby had a beautiful home, a home for wining and dining and hosting parties. He wore the suits and smiled the smiles, but inside was still the younger man yearning for his lost love and their simpler, more humble earlier years. I've never lived in anything above a working class home, and I'd feel out of place trying. As much as we all dream of winning the lottery, yachts, cruises, The Bahamas and Seychelles, multiple cars, and a mansion with swimming pool... for me even if that "dream" came true, I'd feel like I was living in a fantasy! Going shopping Pretty Woman style and buying whatever you like would be a novelty certainly, because I've never been in a position to do that. But would I want to live up to that lifestyle...? No! I'd still rather bite my nails than have manicures, wear jeans on days I can't be arsed to shave my legs, slob around in PJ's at home and get messy doing crafts, go barefaced pretty much all year round, go braless the same amount of time, I couldn't cope with the pressure to "look the part". I'm happy to be a poorer class and I mean that sincerely. Yeah I've got a wild imagination and I love escaping into Fantasyland, but only because I'm certain that the fantasy far outweighs the reality once the novelty of it wore off. I love the song by Neil Sedaka, The Hungry Years, and the lyrics are how I imagine I would feel too! ..... And THAT ^^^ is why these houses are fabulous to see, I love seeing ALL the tours, but even if I could afford my own house, (not that I need to as my rent is free, as is all house maintenance and repairs, due to my long term illnesses and disability benefits) but if I was ever in a position to buy a house, this would not be it. It's not how much it costs, it's the very showy grand way it looks that I don't like. I'd happily pay extra for a fabulous location, walking distance to a small but bustling town and a plot overlooking a sandy beach... I'd pay over the odds for that placement, quite happily, but the house would be very small and simple. A log cabin would be lovely, one storey, or a single wide, or a mini mansion, or the home you showed last, the homely grandma house, that would be gorgeous with the wood lightened up and less fussy decor. ..... But I still love all the tours...because they all give my imagination space to run wild and go crazy. And that's enough for me. 😘😘😘 Ooops that was a long one wasn't it! 😳😲🙄😂

Gorgeous! A few things I would do different for me, but definitely a dreamy home! Do they have any with elevators so people can age in place?
@charlesrodriguez79842 жыл бұрын
No. You need one of those motorized chairs that go up and down the stairs.
@ImBooX22 жыл бұрын
They make residential elevators. I'd want one in a place like this. I'd want it to access all three levels. I have bad knees and ankles, and I have friends and family that are physically challenged, I'd want them if visiting a few days to be able to access a room upstairs. Tim has toured a home with an elevator.
@fluffytail63552 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I’m mid 50’s and a heart patient so I’m nervous about all the stairs. Also for moving, an elevator would be convenient.

Super nice! Loved the layout, colors, the windows, so much room. I'd change a few things. The fireplace needs to be wider...don't like a skinny fireplace. I'd have one big closet in the master bedroom, no wine area, I'd have the window and shower door frosted glass, and I like the garden tubs with the built in around them. And you could do a lot with the huge basement.

@vickischerer42753 жыл бұрын
Ok, just to be clear. I am one that does not like all those windows. They are beautiful in someone else’s house, just not mine. I have nerve damage in my eyes to where bright light hurts them a lot and gives me headaches. When I even go to a Dr. Appt. I have to wear sunglasses because their lighting is so bright. Some offices can dim them down which I love. That is what is in our house. But back to the house, I know they love the high ceilings and windows. So can it be changed to where it’s not high ceilings and regular sized windows? Or even maybe tinted windows. Don’t know if that would work. I like that flex room because I could use it for my room. Freaking huge master bedroom. Omg, a bar in your closet? Sounds like AA time.😂😂😂 Wow, beautiful master bathroom. Nice kitchen. Love the window over the sink. Great pantry. I have to say this is a beautiful home. You did great. Thank you for the tour .
@kellyburke13263 жыл бұрын
I would definitely take out the carpet in the master butler's pantry. Wine and carpet? Oh no! Also the strange pieces of wood sticking out in the master closets would have to go. I can see someone hitting themselves in them real quick...stunning master bath!!!

Sweet place. I'd nix that bar in the Master. I'd want something done with the TV, I don't like them high on the wall...a friend has his like that above a fireplace, it is not good for viewing in my opinion. Residential elevator to the three levels. Those are must have changes, maybe some other minor tweaks.

This is my favorite along with the other one I commented on.I live in Florida, do these builders come to Florida if a potential customerThis is a big toss between my first or second favorite home! There are nights that I spend hours watching thes videos and dreaming about which one I’d choose . Could you find out if this builder comes. to Florida if the y have more than one customer who wants one of their homes? I spent 6 months in the hospital last year because I got third degree burns from a heating pad and went through 3 surgeries in two months and I have been so sick but you videos, your fun de mean or and encouraging attitude to help people get excited to buy one of the homes that you post. And you do it because you truly seem to love what you do so much, thank you for putting dreams and goals back into my heart. I also would like to know if this builder helps people who really want one of their homes built, do they do any kind of charity or foundation work and give price breaks to give someone the biggest dream of their life? I am only 54 years old and when I got burned with my heating pad , I had 3 surgeries within 2 months and the burns caused a condition called Rhabdomyolosis and that caused my kidneys to become toxic and the y stopped working. I now go to dialysis 3 days per week and I need a kidney transplant. I have a long road ahead of me but I am a Christian and my faith in my Lord, Jesus Christ has gotten me through every minute of every day! So, I’m dreaming again and I would like you to share this with the builders of this home. I’ve never asked for help from anyone in my life like this, but I know that one way or the other, I will work on getting this builder to Florida to build my dream home! I love the layout, the fact that I can customize my forever home ( with my husband, whom himself has critical health problems but God is so good, He will show me that there will be good things that come out of such a difficult situation, to God be the glory for the videos that you post and help people work hard for their dreams! I also would like to ask again if you can build a basement in Florida? I would be so appreciative if you take the. time to answer my questions. Thank you again for the work that you do every day with a smile on your face, your.really have made a difference in my life by putting laughter and more joy back into my heart! I love the spacious floor plan and the high ceilings with so many doors and windows. You will hear from me again, I’m sure, please know that you do a great job!
