Anyone have some advice? Just opened TFSA and unregistered account, I have 5K... For the past 8 months I've been using a simulator and my ROI has steadily climbed to 65% and I am doing phenomenally. How bad an idea is it to simply invest in the same companies I did in my simulator? I have 20 stocks and every single one has had a positive return, some more than others of course.

I appreciate that, I am a little worried about that but I think I have a strong stomach and I can separate my emotions from money pretty easily (won and lost thousands playing poker and didn't blink an eye either way) But seriously do you think my idea is atrocious? Or is it a reasonable way to start? What I am most worried about is actually the cost of investing in 20 different stocks when I only have 5000 dollars. obviously that isn't too smart so I have to buy into my best 3-5 ones?
