Thank you for taking time to explain in such detail. It's important to a beginner sewer like me.

You’re welcome! It’s why I go into detail with these tutorials. There are plenty of cool videos that never explain the design or why certain things are done. I’m glad you liked this video.

Hello from Davie, Florida. Thank you Timothy for sharing. I've learned a new technique for binding. So much easier for sure.

I love this project! I don't know why I haven't made mug rugs and cup cozies before. 🤔 I make batting-lined thread beds to hold my working floss to when I am cross stitching. The finishing technique that you used for the mug rug will work perfectly for them. I had been binding them...until now 😁

This has been part of my quest to remove all binding from my life. Lol. But seriously, I hope you enjoy this new technique. I always love learning a new method.

I hold my mugs by the handle but this is a really good idea to help keep my coffee warm! I’d make it more narrow to avoid it hitting my mouth and drips. Good video. Thanks.

The way that's made, I will put a button in the same place on the other side too. Sew them on at the same time. The elastic will reach both, and the sleeve then becomes reversable! Then you could see both beautiful fabrics! Just flip it occasionally!

at the end, as you took a sip, I noticed you would have the fabric in your mouth. Might want it down a little. Less width.
@timothytotten94098 ай бұрын
Good point. Perhaps start with a 3.75” width rather than 4”.

That was the easiest mitered corner I have ever seen. Wonder if this technique would work on a quilt?

Thank you. I do follow Jenny at Missouri Star. I just have such as hard time, don't know why that I have such as difficult time doing mitered corners. My brain just refused to let these techniques sink in enough to use them! @@cathyscreations1954

I Need a pint glass Cozy with taper. Mug rug will become White Russian pad. I Think it would be an interesting video of you using a treadle machine, keep the bloopers in the video. Hope you're up to challenge. Thanks for the videos.

Another great video. Have you ever used a mini iron? They intrigue me but have never bought or used one.
@timothytotten94098 ай бұрын
I haven’t. I don’t see much use for me. I’m sure they have uses for other folks though.

I have a suggestion for a tutorial video. Where can I send the video. It’s in foreign language that I can’t translate.
