I'm guessing they're gonna add them into the game together with the A-6 SWIP variant for tech tree, that's probably why it took so long to add it into the game because they're waiting for the anti-radiation missiles to be done.

You can recenter the cockpit view in VR to move the head position. But that does mean the cockpit HUD might end up out of view a bit.

It might not be much help. I change them kindof frequently, I use a lots-of-buttons mouse, and I use an elgato streamdeck as a makeshift MFD type pad for some of my radar/weapon controls.

9:25 I'm not sure this is how it's modelled in-game. As far as I am able to tell, clouds merely block the auto-tracking of the laser designator. The actual laser still seems to "shine through" the clouds, even though you have no clue what it's pointed at. Either way, great vid as always! Just picked this jet up myself

Its new. I had a bit of a channel audit/review a few months ago, and one of the suggestions was that I try to make the aircraft more "visually distinct from the background" in my video thumbnails, so I'm trying a drop-shadow effect to see how it goes.

Very sure the JL-10A radar should also have a TWS mode but the snail didn't bother likely cuz the PL-12 isnt in the game yet Also personally idm the limited PL-8, i love the acceleration of the PL-5 and i jse it for targets reversing in front of me or longer distance targets, and the PL-8 for dogfights

I've found the Pl-5 to be a surprisingly good weapon in practice, it *seems* to outperform its paper stats.

@@TimsVariety definitely, its my favorite IR missile in the game Great review btw, and that rate speed you mentioned of 540 ish kph is something i managed to find out myself too in som testing, for example it can outrate an F-5 at 550 kph with combat flaps down

When my battle task is getting enemy bases, I need something that is going to get me there first, permit me to drop while supersonic and at least usually get me home. Preferably clearing a whole base in one pass, at a tier where RP contributes to rank VII and VIII research. So far the only thing that does it all, is the F-105D. I tried the purpose built Tornado and found that radar missiles make it both ineffective and suicidal. Soviets are not as fast and Mach limited for dropping bombs. I am interested if anyone has a better aircraft (other than the F-111) for the task.

The Israeli Kurnass(es) might work, as the bombs can be dropped at slightly supersonic speeds (M1.1) and still lets you bring a decent load of missiles to fight with after the bombs are gone… but you might have to ninja around to the bases given you’ll be seeing F-14s, early F-16s and MiG-29s in uptiers… The Phantoms can bring a lot of dumb bomb weight (enough to pop 2 bases with 5x1000lb bombs each). I have reasonable success base bombing in my 11.0 Kurnass carrying 1000lb bombs on the outer wing pylons (which gives me 10 bombs, enough for 2 bases), which still leaves the inner pylons free for a full missile compliment and the center station for the drop tank. Taking the drop tank let’s me get away with only 20 minutes of internal fuel, so I can be lighter when the tank is empty (around the time the bombs get dropped).

Since you didn't seem to have mentioned it or even noticed But if you decide to go out and bomb bases then the 500Kg parachute bombs are the best options since they have 100kg+ TNT equivalent more then the Standart 500kg bombs This allows you to use 4 per base and let's you take out two with the 8 max you can carry or only take 4 for one and have some better performance
