Games get sweatier and sweatier. New age matchmaking has made competitive games impossible to enjoy without having to play your absolute best to win a match sometimes. I used to be able to play rocket, R6, Fortnite etc but now if I switch between them I get so overwhelmed by players that are sweating as hard as they can in a quick/causal match. Just play rocket league casual that doesn’t give you a rank but people will score empty nets like their lives depend on it meanwhile scoring them is the most boring thing ever .

R6 and RL are some of the worst when it comes to competitive, and Rivals is going to be up there. In RL and MR every game you'd have a teammate screaming at the others because they're bad (it's always our fault, never theirs). I also quit R6 entirely because of cheaters, but I did manage to reach emerald 3 times and it wasn't fun at all, I could tell I wasn't enjoying myself. I quit competitive entirely and I've been having a blast not taking games seriously. I did try to reach gold for the Moon Knight skin but the experience wasn't enjoyable so I gave up.
