I was thinking the same thing after his first tee shot. Trying to cut it would probably still produce a straight ball or slight draw. He is definitely losing too many strokes on short iron shots by aiming right of the green and pulling it, missing left. He’s still a “beginner” and he’s too worried about how far the ball goes.

It takes time to get better. I started 2,5 years ago and am at 9,6 now but only because I hit on average 60 balls every day, 7 days a week. Either on the range or in my sim... so yeah he probably is not playing enough to get as good as he wants as fast as he wants. The guy is super competitive 😅

When Tim whiffed his shot then hit a dinger into the fence I said out loud "he's falling apart" at the same time Tim said it. Hahahaha. You guys should make a series where you all just work on making Tim better. Then do a TimTheTatMan TwoMan Tournament with streamers paired up with Good Good golfers in a two man team tournament to see if he can win it all. You get the conversations and the audience for a live event. Some funny shots. Some surprises and meanwhile a great golfer to carry the game so it's not fishing balls out of bushes the whole time. It would be a great balance. Tim and Garrett take on the competition. You could also do cool stuff like have Bryson or Fat Perez show up randomly at a hole to sub in for you. Next time you invite someone to play with you, have that player hit every tee shot, and from there, they get to play as a scramble against Bubby, Steve and Matt. That will equalize Brad and Garrett playing off their tee shots and equalize the field. On top of that you give a greater challenge to the better players.
