I miss blackout. Grapple for movement and countering campers. The radar pistol to counter pistol and put it on cars, heli etc to locate people when you drove around for faster phase and more kills The guns felt amazing! Sniping was so fun

I still find myself calling it alcatraz lol the game was before its time and for whatever reason people still don't get it. Imagine this game came out during the pandemic. Warzone we see today, would be insanely different... trauma kits, variants of armour, your own camos on any ground pick up, open style of gameplay, vibrant and best yet GRAPPLES

Blackout just hit different man… no pandemic to help it, just straight up normal release. Having played through Bo4’s entire life cycle, I remember they had a couple of free to play weekends on Blackout and the numbers went up like crazy. I’d choose that over WZ 1 & 2 anyday. Even the player base was just cool asf no extreme toxic shht.

Facts my guy. This game was very very good. I remember playing with the boys till 2-3am every weekend. I grinded warzone but warzone to shit. I uninstalled that shit over a month ago. I tried again season 2 and play 1 match seen servers still ass and still no damn audio. So uninstalled again. Games trash and no skill gap

Even if it was the cross play only it would have gave more life to that year of COD, I enjoyed every session of Black Ops 4 but cross-platform for Blackout would have been fantastic; would have helped PC players a ton too

I wish treyarch would update Blackout a little bit but keep most of the core mechanics and make it crossplay and release it for free to play. I wouldn't even care if they kept the Blackjacks armory lootbox system in at that point as long as it was all cosmetics. Just bring all the old assets and port to the new engine keep the movement the same and add some new guns and some extra locations to the map that shit would be fire.

played blackout for 6 months after warzone 1 came out, until the servers basically died. Blackout definitely needed improvement, but it was so much fun to play. Movement felt just right, looting was simple and effective and the overall mechanics were just better. Hopefully Treyarch can take the time they have for their next game and really knock it out of the park.

Treyarch had a blackout 2 planned for cold war, its what all the larger multiplayer maps and outbreak maps put together were meant to make. When warzone did well it got canned and they were made to integrate their guns into warzone. Its why warzone black ops integration was a shit show.

My issues with Warzone are loadouts, audio, and felling like I'm fighting the same dude 9 times because of gulags, selfs and buy backs. Blackout you had to scrounge for weapons and once your team was wiped it was time for that 1 v 4 clutch. If Blackout had MWs weapon animations and take out the camera bobbing when you run it would be a hit. Also cross play

In my opinion I think loadouts ruin warzone because if your a new player or someone that doesn’t play the game a lot you won’t have any attachments or any of the meta weapons which is really unfair plus warzone is technically pay to win because you have to buy multiplayer to actually unlock the mega weapons and level them up. I feel like there should be some type of load out system but you have to pay for specific attachments for example: you go to a buy station or a new shop and you can purchase any weapon available in the game then you should be able to press a button to open up a guns smith and chose any attachments everything should be available also you should be able to save that custom gun that you just made at the buy station so that you don’t have to keep creating the gun every match(prices vary from different types of weapons and the devs can change the price of the “meta/most used weapons at the time” to make it more expensive so players can be encouraged to use other weapons but the price increase of the certain meta/most used weapons shouldn’t be really high). There should be 3 tabs in the buy station 1. The normal score streaks table and items/buy back tab 2. A tab with every gun with no attachments that is purchasable and also on this same tab you should be able to press triangle/y on controller to open up the guns smith 3. A load out tab do you can have quick and easy access. Obviously this idea can get worked on a bit because I know some people like leveling up their weapons on warzone which seems to be pretty boring but I think this would make the game more fair

I still play this today and I don’t matter what level armor you have if you shoot anybody in the head with a sniper rifle it’ll still knock them down and then the second shot will kill them. That’s on duos and quads and I believe on solo. It’s an instant kill but I don’t now for sure on solos and a tomahawk on any level armor, will knock him down immediately as well. I have personally down a level three armor.

Timthetatman In Black ops Cold war there was the Fireteam mode in season 3 of Cold war there was a Mode Called FireTeam elimination where its like mini Blackout with the 3 Plate system from Warzone you can Plate while mantle but since Cold war was a Rushed game there was no Guns on the ground but there was chest like WZ but the bottom line is that Fireteam Elimination was the Blackout successor and i had much fun playing it personally and the Pre Alpha of Cold war had Blackout 2.0 with that leak ural Mountains map like 60% complete

I honestly enjoyed the multiplayer of black ops 4 better than what we have now. I liked the hero style characters and having "ultimate" abilities. I have been saying it for a while but i still feel like black ops 4 was the last good CoD. Also feel like what hurts these games is the fact it comes out every year. We got modern warfare 2 and we already talking about the next call of duty.
