I understand that you mean no harm, however, you learned this song via richard smith, re arranged to make it friendly to average guitarists. and selling it cheaper. I think this will hurt richard smith by taking away from his tutorial of this song, which is his best selling product on his store. it would be best to reach out to him and ask him for permission to do this video, he is very easy to reach. and im sure he would be willing to work with you on this, and find a way to "divi" up the earnings. that is the correct way to do this.

I did try but never got a reply! I'll try again as I completely understand the argument you are making. I did go for the "safe" option and stuck to the Chet Atkins version for the free lesson, thinking that should minimise the impact on what he is offering (I think there are several other people offering the same tutorial on KZbin).
