Hi George! I have no experience with the tabs on Tommy's website, so I can't comment on that. Maybe there is a difference in the source material being used: I base most of my transcriptions on live versions rather than album versions, and it seems as if most people on KZbin are listening to those live versions as well!
@georgeleaman43453 жыл бұрын
@@TimVanRoy I understand your point about different versions of a song performance. And I agree. But with the song Timberland I’ve only seen and heard the version on the CD and the video. What you teach for that song which is played on the baritone guitar, and I applaud you for using sections of the jumbo guitar tuned down.... it’s really quite unrecognizable and the inaccuracies are very large. If I had not encountered your tutorial on this song and had only gotten the official transcription office site I would’ve had no way really of knowing how the the song is actually to be played. This is probably the exception to the vast majority of very fine transcriptions. But I thought it was worth noting

This is sad but a good thing for you to do. I pay to learn from him on his true fire channel. He works hard to put out tutorials himself on all of his songs and deserves to be payed to teach his songs at the level he is. It's only 12 dollars a month for everything except the virtual workshops. Thanks for thinking through this and taking them down.

A solution is around the corner as well, I should be able to put some parts back up in the coming weeks!

You ve got the teaching talent and no matter if it is Mozart's or Emmanuel's music. You have the right to teach your own way.

That is right! But I do not have the right/license to show the tabs in the video, and that was the problem. But a solution has been found!
