Mr. Barry, in my profession we hear many such stories. Yours is one of the most intriguing and touching I've heard in many weeks. Nevertheless, I'm afraid I cannot grant your request. But I'll tell you what I will do. I'll allow you to keep those fine pair of boots which in normal circumstances I would have for myself. The next town is only 5 miles away, and I suggest you now start walking.

A truly mournful, sad, somber, haunting, and beautiful piece of music and a powerful film, that I appreciate and admire a lot more, at my age and in my current circumstances.

It's a wonderful film isn't it Chris. Whatever may happen in life, know that you are never alone.

@@harrychalcraft9711Thank you, Harry, however, my message wasn't a cry for help, though I can understand why you might have thought so. I'm a bit too old for such acts. Instead, it was merely an expression of my empathy for the film's central character, who had become a broken, beaten man by the film's conclusion, and my relating to his crushing disappointments and heartbreak, which are perfectly captured in this piece of music. The older I am becoming, the more I am observing, just how grim life can be, and how truly pitiless and without mercy or compunction, many people are. These insights or opinions are based upon my own experiences, and I cannot speak for anyone else, nor would I impose my feelings and views on others. I now understand and accept, that some people live privileged, happy lives, and many do not. Some people wield inordinate and disproportionate power, and effect the lives of others, and those they affect, must bear it. Some things can be changed, and some progress made, but that being said, those wielding the power, continue to do so. It is not fair, just, or right, but unfortunately, it is the way of the world. If people voice their displeasure at these circumstances, too loudly or too often, they can find themselves incarcerated or deceased. As Kurt Vonnegut wrote, 'So it goes.', or as I prefer, 'So be it.' It is what it is. I have encountered and seen too much in my life, to think otherwise, and given what's currently taking place in America and how unsparingly ugly it is, I have no good, solid reasons to believe it will improve. Thank you for your input, but I will admit, I do not wish to engage in a debate about these points, as they are based upon personal experiences, which may or may not relate to your own. I have simply shared my thoughts. Period. Given the current times, I will state for the record (because many people enjoy psychologically profiling each other as a hobby, these days), I am not a deranged, homicidal/suicidal man, who is posting disturbing comments in Social Media. I simply shared my thoughts and opinions, which perhaps, is not the wisest choice in the current social climate.

Probably someone thought it was the name of the song, while it's the name of the album by Paddy Moloney and Séan Potts which contains the song
